The Standard Vibrating Rod Level Switch is designed for precise detection of solid materials in various industrial applications. Featuring a rod-shaped sensor that vibrates at a specific frequency, this switch operates based on the principle that the vibration frequency changes when the rod comes into contact with solid materials.
When the material reaches the predetermined level and contacts the vibrating rod, the frequency alters, triggering an alert or control action. This switch is built to withstand harsh conditions, making it suitable for a range of industries, including food processing, chemical manufacturing, and bulk material handling.

Vibrating rod is a single element tunned mechanical element-type level sensing device. Electronics of LSV-R excites the piezo-electric-crystals inside the tuning rod, which makes the rod vibrate at it’s natural resonance frequency in free air.
When Material touches the rod, vibration stops as resonance gets disturbed.
Amplitudes of vibration are above threshold when rod is free to vibrate.
Amplitudes of vibration, as sensed by the electronics falls below the threshold, Materials presence is thus detected by observing the amplitude of vibration.
