Infra Level Sensor

The Infra Level Sensor is a non-contact level measurement device that utilizes infrared technology to accurately detect the level of liquids and solids in various applications. This sensor emits infrared light and measures the reflection from the surface of the material being monitored. By analyzing the intensity of the reflected light, the sensor determines the material level, providing reliable and precise measurements.

Ideal for applications where traditional sensors may not be suitable, such as in harsh or hazardous environments, the Infra Level Sensor is widely used in industries including water and wastewater treatment, chemical processing, and food and beverage production. Its robust design and ability to operate without direct contact with the material ensure minimal maintenance and long-term reliability.

Water and Wastewater Treatment: Used to monitor water levels in tanks, reservoirs, and clarifiers, ensuring optimal treatment processes.

Chemical Processing: Ideal for detecting liquid levels in chemical tanks and reactors, providing safe handling of hazardous materials.

Food and Beverage Industry: Employed for monitoring ingredient levels in production processes, such as in fermentation tanks and storage vessels.

Oil and Gas: Utilized for level measurement in storage tanks and separators, helping to manage liquid resources efficiently.

Pharmaceutical Manufacturing: Applied in monitoring liquid levels in various production stages, ensuring precision and safety in pharmaceutical processes.

Bulk Material Storage: Used for level detection in silos and bins containing powders or granular materials, preventing overflows and ensuring proper inventory management.

HVAC Systems: Employed to monitor levels of water and other fluids in cooling towers and other HVAC applications.

Non-Contact Measurement: Utilizes infrared technology to measure levels without direct contact with the material, minimizing contamination risks.

High Accuracy: Provides precise level measurements for various liquids and solids, ensuring reliable operation.

Wide Measurement Range: Capable of detecting levels across a broad range of materials and tank sizes.

Robust Design: Built to withstand harsh industrial environments, with resistance to chemicals and temperature fluctuations.

Minimal Maintenance: Designed for long-term reliability with low maintenance requirements, reducing downtime.

Versatile Applications: Suitable for various industries, including water treatment, chemicals, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals.

Easy Installation: Simple to install and integrate into existing systems, with various mounting options available.

The Infra Level Sensor operates on the principle of infrared light reflection. It emits an infrared beam towards the surface of the material being measured—whether it be a liquid or solid. When the infrared light hits the surface, some of it is reflected back to the sensor.

The sensor contains a photodetector that measures the intensity of the reflected light. The amount of reflected light varies depending on the distance to the material's surface, allowing the sensor to calculate the level accurately. If the material level rises or falls, the distance changes, which in turn alters the intensity of the reflected light detected by the sensor.

This non-contact method eliminates the risk of contamination and wear that can occur with traditional contact-based sensors, making the Infra Level Sensor ideal for various applications in industries like water treatment, chemicals, and food processing.
